Trump’s delusional ‘moment of silence’

Because he is incapable of telling the truth, Donald Trump, the soon to be Republican nominee for president of the United States, came up with this:

Trump reiterated the claim at a rally in Westfield, Indiana on Tuesday night, where he criticized Black Lives Matter for holding rallies across the country the weekend after the Dallas shootings.

“The other night you had 11 cities potentially in a blow-up stage,” he said. “Marches all over the United States—and tough marches. Anger. Hatred. Hatred! Started by a maniac! And some people ask for a moment of silence for him. For the killer!”

Of course, he said it on Fox News, which people watch to increase their stupidity.

No one, absolutely no one, called for a moment of silence for the killer.

This is the same as when he said Muslims in New Jersey were celebrating the collapse of the World Trade Center. I was about to get a train to work in New York, across the street from the World Trade Center, on Sept. 11, 2001. And I remember watching the news and seeing a report about Palestinians cheering the terrorism. But the report was in the Middle East and I remember thinking, “we’re going to war with a Muslim country.”

I knew it was on the other side of the world thousands of miles away. Trump thought it was across the river.

So either he’s a fool and doesn’t know any better, or a liar and deserves nothing but contempt. I say he’s a bloated scumbag fucknugget, but that’s just the New Yorker in me.

His rabid followers foam at the mouth in their hatred for Muslims and Latinos, who in his world are rapists and murderers. He went for the Jews recently with his Hillary Clinton Star of David on a pile of money tweet.

Now he going for, as he puts it, “the blacks.”

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

And while Trump creates another distraction from reality, let’s be aware that this is his base.
