Trump’s second amendment remedies, in context

A followup on the cinnamon dipstick’s speech yesterday when he suggested “second-amendment people” make sure Hillary Clinton doesn’t get to name judges.

“If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is I don’t know.”

Back in late 2010/early 2011, Sarah Palin posted the following map, pointing out people in Congress who supported President Obama’s health care bill:

palintargetlist2 Look at the gun sights on the map, then look at the fourth name from the top in the left hand column.

In January 2011, a psychopath with a gun went to a “meet your congresswoman” rally in Tucson and proceeded to shoot 18 people, killing six, including a nine-year-old girl. He also put a bullet in Gabby Giffords’s head.

Sarah Palin’s staffers ran scared, with a lame-ass “it wasn’t our fault” response on Palin’s target map. Rebecca Mansour, who worked for Palin’s political-action committee, said, “We never ever, ever intended it to be gun sights,” in a interview with conservative radio host Tammy Bruce.

“It’s a surveyor’s symbol,” Bruce suggested. Mansour agreed, adding that the graphic was contracted out to a professional and approved without much thought. “We never imagined, it never occurred to us that anybody would consider it violent,” she said. It was simply “crosshairs that you would see on a map.”

There is “nothing irresponsible about our graphic,” Mansour added.

By the way, Palin had described it as a target map.

Giffords has this to say about Trump’s speech.

Trump knows what he said, his staffers know what he said and his supporters know what he said. Everything they say about twisting his words is bullshit.
