Charlie Rose, Glenn Thrush of the New York Times (the other harasser outed today) and Mark Halperin of ABC and CNBC. Not to mention Roger Ailes and Bill O’Reilly of Fox. That covers all of the networks, right?
Let’s put this in context. This is one of the reasons Hillary Clinton lost the election. Because when the Pussygrabber-in-Chief boasted his prowess about grabbing pussy, these guys thought to themselves, “What’s the big deal?”
They all hate women, and everything they did, from their interaction with their female co-workers and how they decided to cover the atrocities of Babyman, was geared toward keeping women in their place.
What I don’t get is how they got away with it for so long, when everybody knew what they were doing?
You don’t think people knew? Consider this:
The prosecution rests.
Never though about it, but this does make sense. “Tough on crime” is the GOP code word for lock up minorities.
File this under: Guns don’t shoot people. Old people with guns shoot themselves and other people:
A man accidentally shot himself and his wife at an East Tennessee church on Thursday while he was showing off his gun during a discussion on recent church shootings, police said.
Elder members of First United Methodist Church in Tellico Plains were cleaning up about 1 p.m. after enjoying a luncheon held to celebrate Thanksgiving. They began talking about guns in churches, according to Tellico Plains Police Chief Russ Parks.
A man in his 80s pulled out a .380 caliber Ruger handgun and said, “I carry my handgun everywhere,” according to Parks.
He removed the magazine, cleared the chamber, and showed the gun to some of the men in the church. He put the magazine back in, apparently loaded a round in the chamber, and returned the gun to its holster, Parks said.
“Somebody else walked up and said, ‘Can I see it?’ ” Parks said. “He pulled it back out and said, ‘With this loaded indicator, I can tell that it’s not loaded.’ “
He pulled the trigger.
“Evidently he just forgot that he re-chambered the weapon,” Parks said.
The gun was lying on its side on a table. The bullet sliced the palm of the man’s upward-facing hand, then entered the left side of his wife’s abdomen and exited the right side, Parks said.
Both the husband and wife, who is also in her 80s, were flown to the University of Tennessee Medical Center with injuries that police said didn’t appear to be life-threatening. Their names had not been released as of Thursday evening.
He’s in his 80s and carries his gun everywhere. He’s from Tennessee, so it’s a wonder he hasn’t shot that last tooth out of his mouth.
Can someone explain this to me?
When President Vladimir V. Putin in July ordered American diplomatic missions in Russia to slash their staff by 755 employees, the State Department said it would need time to assess the “impact of such a limitation and how we will respond to it.”
Part of that response has now become clear: To make up for the loss of security guards axed in the Russian-mandated staff cuts, Washington has hired a private Russian company that grew out of a security business co-founded by Mr. Putin’s former K.G.B. boss, an 82-year-old veteran spy who spent 25 years planting agents in Western security services and hunting down their operatives.
Under a $2.8 million no-bid contract awarded by the Office of Acquisitions in Washington, security guards at the American Embassy in Moscow and at consulates in St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and Vladivostok will be provided by Elite Security Holdings, a company closely linked to the former top K.G.B. figure, Viktor G. Budanov, a retired general who rose through the ranks to become head of Soviet counterintelligence.
So a Putin crony is now in charge of security at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow? Am I the only one who sees a problem with this?
Sounds like collusion to me. Don’t you think Putin’s little puppet has gone too far?
Reflections on the debased base.
The dipshits are everywhere. But women have known this forever.
The answer isn’t for men to be like Mike Pence …
Vice President Mike Pence once had told The Hill, a political newspaper and website, that he never dines with women alone, nor does he attend functions without his wife if alcohol is being served.
Because that either implies that women can’t control themselves around Mike Pence (highly unlikely) or Mike Pence can’t control himself around women (sounds right. Have you seen the guy’s face?).
The answer is for men to stop being dicks (and to stop thinking with theirs).
It’s four games into the season, but I’m really enjoying Louisville women’s basketball this year. The highlight has been the 95-90 win over Ohio State, in Columbus, where Asia Durr set a UofL basketball scoring record (men’s and women’s) with 47 points. But the other three matchups against Southeast Missouri State, Toledo and Michigan have been blowouts, winning by 40, 35 and 25 points, respectively.
Here’s how good they are. I went to the SEMO season opener and thought the Cards were looking really sloppy. That was the 40 point win. Then I watched the Michigan game last night, when they went into halftime down five points. Michigan only scored 12 points in the final two quarters. That’s 12 points total.
Given the disappointment of UofL football and the scandal around men’s basketball, women’s hoops may end up being the must-see sport in the city. (Of course, there’s still Notre Dame and Connecticut around to burst that bubble, but right now, the UofL women are the No. 5 team in the country.)
When I was going up, our elementary school disaster drill was to quickly get away from windows and cower in hallways, because the Cubans had nuclear weapons supplied by Russia, and we thought they were going to use them on us. As a second grader, I didn’t know that at the time. I figured it out years later.
But second graders today know that when they have an emergency drill, it’s because a psychopath with a gun is in the area, and they don’t want to be victims of another Sandy Hook. Because things like this are happening:
Parents were dropping their children off at Rancho Tehama Elementary School, a tiny building in a rural stretch of Northern California, when they heard the first shot. Almost immediately, two more gunshots cracked through the morning air.
It was just minutes before school was supposed to begin on Tuesday morning. The school secretary made a snap decision: Lock down the school. She and other staff members ushered children from the quad into the school, quickly urging nearly 100 young students inside, along with four teachers, aides and parents, said Rick Fitzpatrick, superintendent of the Corning Union Elementary school District.
Children were still hurrying in when the gunman’s white pickup truck came tearing down the street and crashed into the school’s locked gate. A man later identified as Kevin J. Neal jumped out, wielding a semi-automatic rifle and wearing a vest packing additional ammunition, authorities said. Children were still hurrying into classrooms, Fitzpatrick said, when the head custodian looked around a corner.
Neal raised his rifle, targeting the custodian, but it apparently jammed, Fitzpatrick said. By the time Neal cleared the jam, the last student was inside and the school was locked down.
Within 10 seconds of the lockdown going into place, Neal was standing in the quad where, moments earlier, children had been playing.
Children, school staff and parents huddled inside under desks and in offices. Outside, Neal raised his rifle and began to fire. Police said in the hours leading up to that moment, he had killed his wife and hidden her body before beginning a bloody rampage across this community about 135 miles north of Sacramento.
Neal, who also tried to open doors and get inside, fired at the school for six agonizing minutes, shattering windows and shooting through wooden walls, authorities said. One bullet struck a child, while others were wounded with broken glass. Neal eventually “became frustrated” and gave up, abandoning the school, Phil Johnston, an assistant sheriff in Tehama County, told reporters.
The NRA has bought and paid for the Republican Congress and has killed more Americans than all the Islamist terrorist groups combined. This psychopath intended to go into a school and blow away as many children as he could. But we’re now trained to go into lockdown mode for a mass shooter because members of the GOP won’t do anything to offend their masters in the NRA.
