She reports, you decide

A preview of Fox News’s latest conspiracy theory:

Her premise is that the threat came because the Clinton’s had proof his birth certificate was fake. Because, you know, when it comes from a Fox News anchor, it must be true. Heather Childers is what they call a “straight news” anchor over there.

Media Matters states the obvious. Although it does have this information from an insider:

Asked what most viewers and observers of Fox News would be surprised to learn about the controversial cable channel, a former insider from the world of Rupert Murdoch was quick with a response: “I don’t think people would believe it’s as concocted as it is; that stuff is just made up.”

Indeed, a former Fox News employee who recently agreed to talk with Media Matters confirmed what critics have been saying for years about Murdoch’s cable channel. Namely, that Fox News is run as a purely partisan operation, virtually every news story is actively spun by the staff, its primary goal is to prop up Republicans and knock down Democrats, and that staffers at Fox News routinely operate without the slightest regard for fairness or fact checking.

Who are you going to believe? Me or your lying eyes (part 3)

The opportunist Fox News hack Juan Williams has gone on the air and said that the group Media Matters took him out of context when he said in 2009 that Michelle Obama was acting like “Stokely Carmichael in a designer dress.”

For all you youngsters, Stokely Carmichael was a major black radical in the 1960s.

Of course Media Matters was right, and immediately jumped on Williams by posting the video of the words coming out of his mouth.

Why do people go on Fox News and bald-face lie about things they said, even though there’s video of them saying it on Fox News? They must think Fox viewers are total idiots.
