Die, already!

I wonder what the guys at Spill.com are watching this week?

Now, wasn’t that tons more fun than “thumbs up and thumbs down?”

Avengers: Spill.com asks, ‘What does Nick Fury do?’

From my favorite movie review site, Spill.com.

“The Avengers” officially opens Friday. It’s going to be a huge hit. Here’s why.

Movie reviews for the 2010s

There must be movie review shows on television, but I haven’t seen one in years. Remember Siskel and Ebert … back when their show was called “Sneak Previews.” Well, Siskel died 12 years ago (has it really been that long?) and Ebert can’t talk anymore since he lost his lower jaw in dealing with his thyroid cancer.

(You can still get a great dose of Ebert on his blog, Roger Ebert’s Journal, which is one of the best entertainment blogs around.

I now get my movie reviews from Spill.com. Four guys sit around and talk about movies. I’m not a fan of their extended audio reviews (some of which take at least a half hour for one movie). But the condensed video animated review is worth the time.

Here’s an audio review of “Rise of the Planet of the Apes.”

The video review is here.

It would be great if they turned out more animated reviews quicker, but these are fun to watch.
